Overview
Dust off your favorite record, place a needle in a groove, and settle into your cozy armchair as you’re transported to the world of an imaginary 1928 musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. It’s a trip down one obsessed fan’s memories of all things Golden Age musical. His small, dingy apartment transforms into the setting for a big, extravagant wedding, packed with mistaken identities, larger-than-life characters, madcap hijinks, and flashy dance numbers on the way to the altar. Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, it’s a toe tapping tribute to the love of musical theatre.
The Drowsy Chaperone is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
Run Time Note: The musical will be performed without an intermission
