Jean’s Jazz Series

For the past 25 years, Jean’s Jazz has opened our ears and our hearts to all facets of music within the genre of jazz. The Racine Theatre Guild stage is transformed into an intimate jazz club four times a year just for you. As we prepare for another great season, we are ready to explore even more smooth, swanky, and soulful jazz with new and familiar artists.

In 2001, Joe Mooney created the Jean’s Jazz Series in memory of his wife, Jean, who passed away from ovarian cancer. Since then, over 25,000 people have attended our concerts, grossing over $140,000 to benefit the Racine Theatre Guild. Jean’s love of the Theatre Guild and her love of Jazz inspired a series that has truly enriched the community.
