Overview
On September 11, 2001, the world stopped. As the United States’ airspace closed, the remote town of Gander, Newfoundland became the place for 7,000 scared and uncertain passengers to land. What they were greeted with was open hearts and the kind of generosity and care that shines a light on the power of kindness and resilience. The “plane people” and townsfolk formed lasting bonds in a musical true story with humor, heart, and humanity, celebrating unity and love in the darkest of times.
