Looking for a diverse cast of strong singers/performers of any and all ethnicities and backgrounds. No experience is necessary to be part of the production.

Female/Female Presenting

• Mrs. Bella Manningham (20s – 40s): The victim. Was once a radiant beauty, has a haggard, wan, frightened air, with rings under her eyes. Sensitive, intelligent, and emotionally unraveling under pressure.
• Elizabeth (40s – 60s): Maid who has worked for Mrs. Manningham for quite some time. She is meek, scared, loyal and very, very worried about her Mistress’s mental health. She takes large risks to do what’s right.
• Nancy (18 – 30): Cheeky, taunting, outrageous flirt with overt ambitions to sleep with Mr. Manningham and become the lady of the house. She has many “admirers” and uses that to her advantage.

Male/Male Presenting

• Mr. Jack Manningham (30s – 50s): A little too well dressed. A smooth talker. His manner is charismatic, suave, and authoritative, but dangerous, shifting from warmth to chilling cruelty.
• Rough (30s – 60s): Friendly and overbearing detective. Easy laugh. Underneath an affable exterior lies a deeply determined man. The main driver of the plot, he spins a tale of high adventure and keeps the action moving within long passages of narration.
