AMERICAN PLAYERS THEATRE, SPRING GREEN, WI
A charming young woman proves to be equally charming disguised as a young man, throwing Illyria’s collective love life into wild disarray. Not that the denizens of that town were well-arrayed to begin with. In fact, on an island where everyone’s in love with someone, but no one’s in love with the someone who loves them back, Viola may be just the soul to set them all aright. As Shakespearean comedies go, this is one of the greats; a fun and funny celebration that embraces the insanity of love.
The American Players Theatre is a professional theater located just outside Spring Green, Wisconsin. Situated on 110 acres of hilly woods and meadows, APT ranks as the country’s second largest outdoor theater devoted to the classics.
APT is an outdoor venue, so be prepared for all type of weather. APT never cancels a performance in advance. In case of inclement weather, they make every effort to perform, including playing in rain. **LOTS of walking is required**
Get a peek at APT’s inner workings during a two-hour walking tour. You’ll visit the costume shop, the wig shop, the millinery shop and the craft room. Together these departments prepare over 200 costumes a year. Walk through the props shop, the scene shop and paint shop, where you’ll learn what goes into building scenery and props for the season. And you’ll get to peek backstage and in the dressing rooms.

CADILLAC PALACE THEATRE, CHICAGO
In this delightfully offbeat story, set in a town that’s way off the beaten path. An Egyptian Police Band arrives in Israel to play a concert. After a mix-up at the border, they are sent to a remote village in the middle of the desert. With no bus until morning and no hotel in sight, these unlikely travelers are taken in by the locals. Under the spell of the desert sky, their lives become intertwined in the most unexpected ways. The Band’s Visit rejoices in the way music makes us laugh, makes us cry, and ultimately, brings us together.
Winner of 10 Tony Awards, including the 2018 Tony for Best Musical!
